Dimensional Mail Creates Buzz That Quickly Generates Impressive Sales
Client: Saco Polymers
Saco Polymers is a global pioneer in the development of high performance crosslinkable, thermoplastic and flame retardant compounds used in the wire and cable industry. The company recently acquired a new subsidiary in the U.K., AEI Compounds, and wanted to introduce its special capabilities in the U.S. market.
Responsory, formerly Johnson Direct, brewed up a hot concept to open new opportunities. Using the four technologies associated with the company’s new custom solution and a whimsical tie to the well-known industry lingo – master batch – we created a custom “4T Master Blend” coffee gift:
- Four individual k-cups representing the four technologies were nestled in a crisp white shrink-wrapped package along with an introductory brochure and invitation to meet with AEI Compounds over, of course … a cup of coffee.
- A landing page also provided recipients with the opportunity to register to win a Keurig® Special Edition Brewing System.
RESULTS: the company was able to gain an audience with typically hard-to-reach, high-level contacts that led to significant sales gains.
