Pinterest, a two-year-old social bookmarking site which allows users to create online boards and share their favorite sites with others, has been rapidly gaining in popularity. Mashable.com created a great infographic featuring the highlights of how Pinterest is affecting online retailers.
I’ve been getting my pinning-on for about a year now (recipes, clothing, DIY projects and a host of other things I’m still trying to find the time to do) and as a consumer, it’s a been a really easy and fun way to share what I’ve found with others. But I have not used this in any marketing efforts…yet. What are your predictions on how marketers will be able to integrate this new social site into their marketing campaigns?
