White Paper Helps Promote Breakthrough Vivio System
Medical device company, Avicena, recently developed a portable system to aid widespread screening for early diagnosis, treatment and management of congestive heart failure (CHF). The Vivio System uses novel algorithms to non-invasively detect elevated left ventricular end diastolic pressure which up until now could only be detected through catheterization.
Congestive heart failure (CHF) is a severe condition that, if left untreated, may cause serious symptoms, poor quality of life and even lead to death. It is challenging to diagnose because often clinical symptoms are overlooked, missed or confused with other heart conditions. The introduction of the Vivio System brings non-invasive and early diagnosis of undetected CHF to the point of care.
To promote this breakthrough diagnostic system, Avicena needed an effective way to share the news. The piece ultimately would become a tool for introducing the Vivio System to investors, diagnostic service providers, Medicare advantage plan providers and other third-party interest groups.
